This Privacy Policy explains how Granite Pilot Insights collects and uses personal data when you send an inquiry or visit this website. It is written with Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act (個人資料保護法, “PDPA”) in mind. Where this text refers to “we”, “us” or “our”, it means the legal entity shown in the footer business information block.

What we collect and why

Inquiry form data. When you submit the inquiry form on /contact/, the data you enter — your name, email address, an optional phone number, a topic and your message — is sent as a JSON request to the form handler on this same domain, /api/inquiry. We use that data only to read your question and reply to you by email. The legal basis under the PDPA is your consent, given when you submit the form, and the legitimate interest of responding to an inquiry you directed to us.

Consent preference. When you accept or reject the cookie banner, a single preference string is stored in your own browser under the key gpi_consent_granite-pilot.digital. We do this so the banner does not reappear after you have made a choice. This value never leaves your browser; it is not sent to any server.

What we do not collect. This site runs no analytics, no advertising tags, no pixels and no third-party tracking. There are no analytics cookies. We do not build a profile of your reading behaviour across pages.

How long we keep inquiry data

We retain inquiry form data only as long as is necessary to answer your question and, where applicable, to keep a record of what was discussed in that correspondence. If you ask us to delete an inquiry you previously sent, we will remove the personal data from that correspondence from our records. If you do not write back, correspondence is kept for a short, fixed period and then removed.

Your rights under the PDPA

You have the right to request access to the personal data you gave us, to request a correction of inaccurate data, and to request that we stop using or delete your data. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at the email address shown in the footer below and identify the inquiry you sent. We will respond through the same channel you used to contact us.

Where the data goes

Inquiry data is sent only to the form handler on this domain. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or passed to any analytics provider. We do not use a third-party form service; the form posts to our own endpoint.

Children

This is an editorial site about AI in investment decisions, aimed at a general professional readership. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how inquiry data is handled, we will update this page. The date you should rely on is the date of your visit.
